Terms and Conditions

1. BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

  • All lessons must be booked in advance.

  • I am extremely flexible with cancellations, if you wake up unwell or for some reason, you are unable to participate in a driving lesson, please have the courtesy to let me know.

  • I will reschedule most bookings, should you let me know prior to my arrival.

  • Part of being a responsible driver is being able to make the decision on whether you are able to drive safely or not. If you have to think about it, choose the safest option, cancel the lesson, and we can reschedule.

  • If I have arrived to do the lesson and you are not able to proceed, you will forfeit the lesson fee.

2. PAYMENTS

  • All lessons must be paid for prior to heading out to drive. 

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash or other agreed methods. (I do carry an eftpos dongle in the car, however a bank fee is applied).

  • Packages of 10 lessons are payable up front, and a 5% discount is offered. There is no expiry on the 10 lesson pack, and you can transfer between family members only.

3. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Students must hold a learners licence and carry it at every lesson. You can download the app and this is sufficient. 

  • Students must be fit to drive, and not under the influence of any alcohol, drugs or medications 

  • Students must follow the directions of the instructor at all times.

4. INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The instructor will provide a safe and insured vehicle for lessons.

  • Lessons will be delivered professionally and in accordance with the QLD road regulations.

  • The instructor reserves the right to terminate a lesson if student behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.

5. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

  • Lessons may be refused or terminated in cases of disrespect, aggression, or breach of these terms.

  • Students or guardians may request termination of ongoing lessons at any time.

Policies and Procedures

1. SAFETY POLICY

Students must follow all safety instructions, lessons will be stopped if behaviour is unsafe.

 

2. CODE OF CONDUCT

Respectful behaviour is required from both the instructor and the student. 

 

3. HEALTH POLICY

If students are unwell, fatigued or unfit to drive, lessons must be cancelled.

 

4. SECURITY AND INTERFERENCE POLICY

No third party is permitted to follow, interfere with, or observe lessons without prior agreement. The instructor may cancel a lesson immediately if this occurs. In the event that a student is nervous and would like a parent to ride along silently in the back, this can be agreed upon prior to the lesson commencing.

 

5. COMPLAINTS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION 

Complaints should be directed to the instructor via phone or email. All complaints will be addressed in a calm and professional manner.
